The genius and the art of Leonardo da Vinci
In Sand in Taufers Castle
The Castle of Sand in Taufers, in South Tyrol, will host from 16 March to 31 August 2008, an exhibition dedicated to the genius and the art of Leonardo da Vinci.The exhibition was conceived and designed to involve both children and adults. Anyone visiting the exhibition, will be able to take a dip in the past and come into close contact with the creative genius of Leonardo in its many expressions.
The exhibition, wants to interest, entertain and create awareness, and also enrich the people who decide to visit it.
You can admire the Cenacle, the Gioconda, the Lady with Ermellino, the Virgin of the Rocks and other important works.
The exhibition also exposed more than 40 machines invented by Leonardo in wood, metal and cloth. Some of these machines will be in operation, so that the adults and young people can see and understand empirically their operation.
Against each machine can admire the original copy of the drawing by Leonardo and a detailed explanation of how it works.
A real journey in history for all art and brilliant ideas lovers!
